JAIR Summer Internship Programme 2026 Engages Young Scholars in Contemporary Global Affairs Kolkata

July 2026: The Jadavpur Association of International Relations (JAIR) is currently conducting its Summer Internship Programme 2026 on the theme “International Relations and Contemporary World Order.” The one-month programme commenced on 1 July 2026 and is being conducted online, enabling students from different institutions and academic backgrounds to participate. JAIR Internship Announcement The internship has been designed to provide young scholars with a deeper understanding of contemporary international affairs and the rapidly changing global order. It introduces participants to important questions concerning foreign policy, diplomacy, geopolitics, global governance, international security and emerging regional and global challenges. Through guided academic engagement, discussions and research-oriented assignments, interns are being encouraged to examine international developments critically and develop their skills in research, analytical writing and the systematic presentation of ideas. The programme also seeks to connect theoretical knowledge of International Relations with contemporary events and policy debates. Students pursuing undergraduate studies and above were invited to apply for the programme.
