Ambassador Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty, IFS (Retd.), is a distinguished former Indian diplomat. He served as India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh and Ambassador to Thailand. He also held the position of Secretary (Economic Relations) in the Ministry of External Affairs. He is widely respected for his expertise in foreign policy, diplomacy and India’s neighbourhood relations.

Professor Arvind Kumar is a distinguished faculty member at the Centre for the Study of the Americas, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. His academic interests encompass American foreign policy, international relations and global strategic affairs. He has contributed extensively to teaching, research and scholarly discussions on the United States and world politics. His work offers valuable insights into contemporary geopolitical and diplomatic developments.

Professor Dipankar Sinha is a distinguished Professor of Political Science at the University of Calcutta. His principal areas of specialisation include communication, development studies, democracy and governance. He has served as Head of the Department and Director of the Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities. His extensive research examines political communication, technology, public policy and participatory governance.

Dr. Nilanjan Ghosh is an economist and Vice President of Development Studies and ORF Kolkata at the Observer Research Foundation. His research focuses on ecological economics, water governance, climate change and sustainable development. He has written extensively on natural-resource management, development policy and the Sustainable Development Goals. His scholarship connects economic growth with environmental sustainability, equity and human well-being.

Shri Samir Kumar Mitra is a retired Deputy Inspector General of the Border Security Force (BSF). During his distinguished service, he gained extensive experience in border management, internal security and field operations. He witnessed important developments surrounding the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971 and has shared valuable first-hand recollections. His experience provides significant insights into India’s border security challenges and national-security preparedness.

Professor Samir Kumar Das is a distinguished Professor of Political Science at the University of Calcutta. His research focuses on ethnic politics, migration, security, democracy, rights and governance. He has also served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of North Bengal. His scholarship is especially noted for its insightful analysis of conflict, peace and political transformation in Northeast India.

Professor Arindam Roy is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Burdwan. His academic interests include public administration, public policy, governance, development and social justice. He has published extensively on administrative theory, public health policy, decentralisation and gender inequality. His research critically examines the relationship between governance, globalisation and marginalised communities.

Dr. Mainak Putatunda is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Hooghly Mohsin College. His specialisations include international relations, diaspora studies and the political implications of social stratification. His research examines Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean region, Indian foreign policy and subnational identity movements. He has also contributed to scholarship on marginalised communities, migration, human trafficking and regional politics.

Professor Ayangbam Shyamkishor is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at Mizoram University. His principal research interests include Northeast Indian politics, public administration, electoral politics and regional governance. He has written extensively on political parties, autonomy movements, ethnicity and democracy in Manipur and Mizoram. His scholarship also explores border connectivity and the role of Northeast India in India’s Act East Policy.

Professor Sanjukta Bhattacharya is a distinguished former Professor of International Relations at Jadavpur University. Her areas of specialisation include American politics and foreign policy, West Asia, ethnicity, religion, gender and international terrorism. She holds a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Award. Her extensive scholarship has significantly enriched the study of contemporary international relations and global security.

Professor Ishani Naskar is a Professor in the Department of International Relations at Jadavpur University. Her research focuses on Indian foreign policy, Act East Policy, Indo-Pacific subregionalism and cultural diplomacy. She is a former SUSI Fellow and has participated actively in BIMSTEC and other Track-II diplomatic initiatives. Her scholarship also covers India–China relations, Southeast Asia, geoeconomics and refugee issues.

Professor Abhijit Roy is a Professor in the Department of Film Studies at Jadavpur University. His research focuses on television studies, media history, popular culture, modernity and South Asian audiovisual practices. He formerly served as Director of the University’s School of Media, Communication and Culture. His scholarship critically examines the relationship between media, democracy, public culture and social transformation in India.

Dr. Sulagna Maitra is an Assistant Professor of Humanitarian Action Studies at University College Dublin. Her research focuses on humanitarian crises, identity-based conflicts, gender-based violence and conflict resolution. She holds an M.A. in International Relations from Jadavpur University and a Ph.D. from University College Dublin. Her scholarship also examines humanitarian negotiations, localisation, decoloniality and transboundary river-water conflicts.

Professor Mayurakshi Chaudhuri is Associate Professor of Sociology and Digital Humanities at FLAME University, Pune. She also serves as Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Chair of the Sociology Area. Her research interests include technology and society, migration, gender studies, historical sociology and digital humanities. She holds a Ph.D. in Global and Sociocultural Studies from Florida International University, USA.

Professor Kamaran M. K. Mondal is Professor and Head of the Department of International Relations at Jadavpur University. An accomplished scholar, his principal areas of expertise include Canadian Studies, foreign policy and contemporary global politics. He has contributed significantly to teaching, research, publications and academic institution-building in International Relations. His scholarly leadership continues to inspire students and enrich critical dialogue on emerging international issues.
